Elegant

you uses this airport even only once, you'll remain really satisfied. It
is near all the most important tourist resorts in the Italian
Riviera, and it is less than 100 km far from France. The
Airport was opened in 1922; its runway was built in 1937 and it was
the first one in Italy with a macadam classic paving. The Airport occupies an area of about 97 hectares and is placed at the North-West limit of the plain of Albenga.

The airport is open to the
international and passengers traffic and the society which controls it
operates The Airport is provided with all assistance and fire equipments; the fire-service is carried out by staff and means of the Ministry of the Interior. |

The
Air Club, situated at the end of the taxiing ways, gives assistance to its
Members and to the pilots of all Italian and Foreign Air Clubs. It is open all year, festivities included. In case of necessity, the work-shop operates for all airport clients. |
